The factory Duramax fuel system relies on the injection system to pull fuel under vacuum, which can introduce air into the fuel system and place additional stress on critical fuel components. A FASS lift pump helps provide consistent fuel pressure, removes air and vapor from diesel fuel, and improves filtration to help extend injector and fuel system life.
